Destination wedding in Aruba: Everything you need to know
What to expect at this year’s I Do Aruba

Marking its seventh year, I Do Aruba will close with a champagne toast.
Organized by the Aruba Tourism Board, I Do Aruba stands as the region’s largest vow renewal function. It began in 2017 and continues to grow in popularity among travelers. “We are honored that couples from around the world chose our ‘one happy island’ as their destination of choice to celebrate their love”, said Ronella Croes, CEO of the ATB, in an interview with Ebony magazine in 2022. “We are pleased to recognize those travelers through this ceremony”.
Previous editions took place in iconic spots like Eagle Beach, known for its Fofoti trees and nesting sea turtles, and Fort Zouman, built in 1796. For the first time, this 7th edition will move the ceremony to Wilhelmina Park, in the heart of Oranjestad.
This new location sets the stage for this year’s sunset ceremony, scheduled for August 13. As usual, everyone is encouraged to wear white. Still, vibrant accents are welcome to reflect the warmth of the Caribbean setting. That day, a master of ceremony will deliver a moving speech, surrounded by elegant décor and lively local music. Guests will raise their glasses in a final toast to love and joy.
Participation is open to all and completely free. However, to secure your spot, fill out the official registration form, as it guarantees “full Aruba I Do experience”. You will receive emails with event details, transportation coordination, and future opportunities connected to the celebration.
