Thanks to Eva, Liancita, Maria and the rest of the staff for satisfying all requests with a smile and extending hospitality beyond any expectations. Breakfast, included with your room, is homemade, delicious, and made exactly as you want it. Dinner at their restaurant is a pure culinary delight from Sophie their hostess, to Eva, the owner, who makes everyone feel like they are eating in her personal dining room. The Paella at dinner was fabulous as was the Chef’s Steak Special!
The hotel is very close to the Arashi Beach, providing chairs and a cooler for the beach. The room accommodations are wonderful, with all the rooms surrounding a magnificent pool area. We can’t wait to return and will be back

Read more here and vowed to come back and last week, I did. I raved about the hotel so much, my husband and our friends were prepared with high expectations. Honestly, I was a little worried that I might have oversold it’s beauty and the warmth of the staff. Turns out, it was as wonderful the second time as it was the first. My husband and I had the ocean view master suite. Having the use of the semi-private pool and the ocean view was incredible. We enjoyed the beach and lying in the sunshine of Aruba. Most of all, we were overwhelmed by the warmth of the staff. Imagine being at a beautiful, pristine, and quiet location where the staff pampers you with enjoyment you didn’t know you wanted but suddenly knew you needed! The first thing my friend texted me the day after I returned is, “I miss Alexandra.” Eva, the beautiful, gracious, intelligent, and sparkling hostess makes you feel like you are part of her family. Why would I ever want to stay anywhere else? I highly recommend spending your time in Aruba at this 1-of-a-kind boutique hotel! More

  Fabulous Dinner  - We had dinner here last weekend. We had a mix up with our reservations, 100% my fault but Eva accommodated us and our experience was wonderful! Eva the owner... Read more dropped by several times to check on everything and our server, Xiomara was wonderful. The restaurant is just beautiful, the live music was perfect. It was a nice escape from the high rise area!

  A Gem in the North  - Always on the lookout for good accommodation north of Palm Beach, we thought the Ocean Z looked worth a try for our brief pre-cruise stay on our favourite Caribbean island.... Read more Set back across the road from the waterfront, the hotel blends in nicely with the private homes along that stretch. The hotel’s parking spaces in front of it are adequate for the number of hotel guests, but space might be harder to find during dinner hours when the hotel’s restaurant attracts diners from outside.

After the excellent pre-arrival communications asking about our preferences, special occasions, etc., we were a little deflated to find no-one at the reception desk when we entered. A staff member soon showed up, though, to check us in, share useful information and help us to our room at the rear of the property overlooking the pool. We had mentioned that we were celebrating a wedding anniversary, but were surprised to find our room beautifully decorated in appropriate fashion and with a bottle of champagne on the table, chilling for us. A nice touch, very well-executed.

Our room with two king beds was spacious and comfortable, but with no remarkable features until we opened the bathroom door. Wow, it was outdoors, and with the largest shower space we’ve ever seen. The sink, vanity and toilet are under cover, but the huge shower enclosure exposed to the sky – all perfectly private, but with a strange and pleasant feeling of being in the open. We have experienced outdoor bathrooms before, but this memorable feature was more modern and stylish than any of those.

Another nice touch was the loaner beach chairs that we were able to load into our car for the short drive to our favourite beaches. They were actually very comfortable, too.

We had already chosen restaurants for our two-night stay in Aruba, but after enjoying the excellent breakfast that was included in our room rate, we regretted not having dinner at the hotel, either in the air-conditioned restaurant or on the patio outside. We look forward to staying at this excellent, small hotel again on our next visit to Aruba and will be sure to make a dinner reservation there, too.

Read more crème brùlle....So thats very very good and very deliscious. I recomend everybody here in ArubA and the turists to visit this elegant restaurant. It is worth it!

  Absolutely Perfect, Quiet Treasure!  - Maria and the Ocean Z team were amazing! From the moment we arrived until we left, they were very hospitable and made our stay absolutely perfect. They helped with everything... Read more from calling taxis, making reservations, providing shuttle service to the beach, and so much more. The restaurant at the hotel was the best food we had on the island, and we tried all of the top places (get the risotto!). I was very happy that I did not book an all-inclusive at one of the big hotels, because the personal service we received and the peace and quiet being away from the downtown area was exactly what I was looking for. The host, Maria, is extremely hard working and we cannot thank her enough for making our trip so special. Cannot wait to go back soon! Thanks again Ocean Z!

  Best in Aruba by far. - Our stay was just Amazing. We stayed in a room that had an outdoor shower and it was the best part of our stay. Coming back from a long day... Read more at the beach and showering under the stars was just a perfect way to end the day.
Every morning we had the biggest breakfast (which was included in the price per night) any type of eggs with pancakes and waffles, Arepas, fruit, yogurt, it was just what we needed to start our busy days.
The staff was great, the attention you get from everybody is so VIP. Anything we asked for they will get it or help us get it
If you are looking for a VIP treatment in a very elegant and quiet area this is the place to stay
The restaurant was also amazing, we ate most of our dinners at the hotel, we recommend the Paella, the lamb chops and the shrimp pasta!
This is the place we will stay when we come back, no question about it.
