Read more Ocean Z Boutique Hotel has surpassed all of them. The staff truly makes this a unique experience, the hotel is beautiful and well kept, the breakfast was delicious and so much variety. However, it is the care and service provided by their GM, Andreina that will make me never forget. We celebrated a birthday while in Aruba and the attention to detail (birthday balloons in the room, special birthday breakfast, and singing and dessert at dinner service) made the celebration so much more memorable. This place is a hidden gem and I can’t wait to return in December. Thank you so much for an excellent first trip to Aruba! More

I mean come on I had such an amazing time the view from our room is my Trip Advisor profile picture.. 🙂 So imagine my surprise when I see that there was a less then 5 star review added. It just doesn't make sense, how you can visit OceanZ and not have the most incredible experience ever. From the delectable food at the restaurant , the attention from the staff ( I think Eva sat down with us twice during dinner. Each time the company and conversation was sooo fun :)), the cleanliness and the gorgeous suits. They truly go ALL OUT for their guest, its so important to them that you feel like you are at home. So I just don't understand. When you look down the page at all the other reviews the titles are "Life Changing, I will be back, Don't Miss out" and they are all 5 stars in each area. It's really upsetting and hard to believe that this was the case during this stay. **Picture this circa 2017/2018 pre pandemic, my wife... **Picture this circa 2017/2018 pre pandemic, my wife was coming off an arduous deployment and I wanted to plan the ultimate R&R vacation for her and I. Aruba and boutique hotel newbies here so we didnt know what to expect! We would be celebrating her being home and our 2 year wedding Anniversary she missed while out to sea. From day 1 of the planning Eva and her team were nothing short of angels. When my wife's dates changed to come home they were so accommodating with me. Fast forward to GO time, we arrived at Oceanz and were welcomed with opened arms and a refreshing glass of Rose. Yumm!

After we checked in and talked with Eva she kindly took us to our breath taking room with the infinity pool. When I walked in I noticed the bouquet of flowers as well as the bottle of wine that I requested back in the early days of planning. They didnt forget! It was so refreshing to see and even better seeing the smile on my wife's face. That right there sealed the deal. They didnt make us feel like a number but truly a guest in their beautiful home. Now I can continue and go on and on about our experience but that's not what this review is about.

Now I am not taking anything away from anyone's experience good or bad. If these things did in fact happen it is truly unfortunate because this is not OCEANZ at all.

Before I go, although I don't feel its necessary to mention but since race was brought up, my wife is Black and I am Puerto Rican (we are women and we are married) and we were treated just like all the other lovely people. Just like royalty!

November cannot come fast enough because we will be back to celebrate her 50th and can't wait!

  Whatever you wanted at whatever time, the staff at Ocean Z made it happen. The service and cleanliness were outstanding. You were treated like a VIP guest... Read more with the staff knowing your name, how you liked your coffee, what cocktail to mix up for you, and what bottle of wine to have available for dinner. The staff and owner worked as a team an made everything happen seamlessly. Special thank you to Maria, Michael, Francesco, Dianna, Yesenia, Julio and Eva. All of you made our Anniversary Celebration special.

The drinks and food were very good. It was a birthday and they brought out dessert with a ballon and candle and all sang happy birthday. It is on the way to the lighthouse. It is a must to try.

Breakfast was relaxing and delicious after our... Read more morning bike ride along the coast. The hotel,provides beach chairs and a cooler of ice for you to take with you for the day. We rented a car so did not need them to drop us off at the beach. The swimming and snorkeling at Malmok is great. We lunched at Arashi or Moomba. The pool area is very quiet and has good shade in the afternoon. The restaurant has live music and we had a nightcap on our balcony every evening and listened to the music - one artist even sang opera! We dined in the restaurant on Mothers Day and the tables were beautifully decorated for the event. The staff went all out to help us celebrate our events and we look forward to returning soon!
