This tropical oasis has much more to it than its wonderful beaches. Become aware of the Aruba hiking spots you need to add to your bucket list in order to have a relaxing trip while still getting some steps in and marveling at Aruba’s beautiful scenery.
Arikok National Park
This park covers a significant portion of the island and, among its many attractions, it’s a fantastic place for hiking. Arikok features various trails that lead you through rugged terrain, desert-like landscapes, and coastal cliffs. You can explore unique geological formations, visit natural pools, and discover caves with indigenous artwork.
Some popular trails within the park include the Cunucu Arikok Trail, Dos Playa Trail, and the challenging Mount Jamanota Trail, which offers panoramic views from the island’s highest point.

Hooiberg
Also known as the Aruba volcano hike, this formation is located near Santa Cruz in central Aruba. Although it’s not a long hike, ascending the 541-foot hill can be quite a gratifying experience.
The trail consists of concrete steps that lead to the summit, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the island’s landscapes, including the coastline, towns, and the surrounding sea.
Fontein Cave and Quadiriki Cave Trail
Another location you can add to your Aruba hiking activities is Fontein Cave and Quadiriki Cave Trail. Located in Arikok National Park, this trail takes you to two fascinating caves.
