A Caribbean Gem
Beyond its alluring beaches, there are more things to see in Aruba. As a superior vacation destination, it houses many natural wonders that are worth visiting at least once in a lifetime. For this reason, we want to recommend our favorite nature spots on the island.
A pool built by nature
We‘ve mentioned it previously on our blog, but it’s one of the most relevant things to see in Aruba. Located in Arikok National Park, it is a natural rock formation filled with seawater that creates a calm and charming pool.
It’s surrounded by cliffs and the crashing waves of the Caribbean Sea, offering a beautiful and tranquil swimming spot. Did you guess its name yet? Exactly, Conchi natural pool Aruba.
The pool is wonderfully calming. However, due to its remote location and the need for caution in the rocky areas, it’s recommended to be extra careful and follow the safety guidelines and instructions provided by park authorities and tour guides.
Crossing this bridge won’t help you get over this natural beauty
Another location you MUST add to your things to see in Aruba to-do list is the natural bridge. Although the original one (a famous landmark formed by coral limestone that collapsed in 2005) a smaller version known as the Baby Bridge still exists.
This unique rock formation is a popular tourist attraction, offering scenic views of the rugged coastline and the crashing waves. You can access Natural Bridge Aruba by following a short trail from the main road.
The area surrounding the bridge offers scenic views of the impressive shore. If you’re eager to take a few amazing photos and enjoy nature’s majestic wonders, you have to come to Baby Bridge.
Exploring Aruba under the sea
You can definitely take a dip in almost every beach in Aruba and graze your eyes with the beautiful underwater creatures and scenery. However, Mangel Halto is a beautiful shallow bay that is worth the visit.
Located on the southeastern coast of the island, it’s renowned for its vibrant coral reefs, which make it a popular spot for snorkeling and diving. The area is teeming with marine life, including colorful tropical fish, sea turtles, and various coral species.
The fact that this bay is shallow, you don’t need too much swimming experience to be able to dive or snorkel there. This way, you can enjoy the views without much hassle.
Sightseeing on the back of a horse
Experience the beauty of Aruba’s landscapes on horseback. You’ll be able to explore the island‘s trails, dunes, and beaches while enjoying the company of gentle and well-trained horses.
Horseback riding tours on the island often take you through scenic routes that showcase the island’s diverse landscapes. You may ride along sandy beaches, pass through cacti-filled desert areas, or venture into the countryside with its rolling hills and panoramic views.
Never run out of things to do
Here are a couple more activities you can enjoy at Aruba National Park. Add them to your itinerary and there won’t be a boring second on your travel ventures.
You can book a snorkeling tour at Mangel Halto and Baby Beach for approx. $95 per person. This five-hour tour includes a guide that will take you to see the fascinating underwater species.
Add these adventures to your to-do list of things to see in Aruba to spice up your trip and make it an unforgettable one. Let yourself be marveled at Aruba’s natural beauty and Ocean Z’s exceptional attention.
