The property is absolutely beautiful. The rooms are comfortable we loved the high ceilings and the glass ceiling in the shower. The pool is lovely for taking a dip after a beach day. The lobby smells fantastic and the staff is so incredibly welcoming. Diana worked so hard to make sure we had everything we needed. When we arrived, we wanted to upgrade our room to one of the larger oceanfront suites, but we had booked through a 3rd party (Expedia) and we weren’t ultimately able to upgrade (all through the fault of Expedia. The property tried REALLY hard to help us out) lesson learned. Book directly through the hotel!
The restaurant was excellent. Drinks, food and service were all fantastic. Ambience is chic and romantic.
We absolutely loved being right across the street from tres trapi beach a great place to hang out and swim (bring water shoes!!). Great snorkel spot. It gets crowded in waves with tours, but they don’t stay long.
We always rent a car in aruba ocean Z was just 6 minutes from Palm beach nightlife. If you don’t rent a car, you could easily take a cab to Palm beach, eagle beach, Arashi beach or oranjestead.
We would 10/10 recommend and stay here again. 5 star resort all the way.

Arashi beach is less than a 5 minute car ride away and the hotel staff will take and pick you up whenever you choose. You are given, beach towels, beach chairs (and a float if you ask). I did rent a car for three days to explore the island and go to Baby and Eagle beaches but otherwise stayed close to the resort and ate dinner there at the phenomenal restaurant. The complimentary breakfast was cooked to order and delicious. The food presentation was always something you’d see in a Bon Appetite magazine. Shout out to Maria, Xiomara, Sophie, Felicio and Bonnie for making my stay very memorable. I will definitely be back and recommend Ocean Z to friends and family!

The hotel itself is beautiful, spotless, and extremely well taken care of. One of our favorite features was the outdoor shower and the way the bathroom opens into the outdoor space. Taking a shower under the Aruba sky at night was such a unique experience. Honestly, moonlight showers should be a thing!

And the sunsets WOW! 🌅 The views from the hotel were truly magical and gave us some of our favorite moments of the trip. It was the perfect place to slow down, relax, and enjoy the beauty of Aruba.

The breakfast each morning made starting the day so easy and gave us a great start before heading out to explore. The concierge was also fantastic and always willing to help arrange whatever adventure your heart desires. Whether it was exploring the island, finding another beautiful beach, or booking an excursion, they made everything easy.

We also had dinner at the hotel, and the food was exceptionally well executed. The beef carpaccio was incredibly fresh and prepared beautifully, and the Sea Bass is an absolute don’t-miss dish. It was one of the highlights of our dining experience and definitely something we would order again.

If you rent a car, there is plenty of parking, which was a huge plus. Arashi Beach is just a short walk away, and if you enjoy golf, be sure to check out Tierra del Sol, just about a half-mile away.

The only complaint we have is that five days was WAY too short! We honestly wished we had booked a much longer stay.

Ocean Z gave us everything we were looking for—beautiful surroundings, magical sunsets, a peaceful atmosphere, great food, an easy breakfast, helpful concierge service, and most importantly, people who genuinely cared about making our stay special.

We will absolutely be back. Ocean Z feels like a little piece of paradise in Aruba!
